Fusion Goals for 2010 and beyond.

Fusion International is committed to building and establishing lasting connections and
networks (Social Capital) that will help
humanise and transform local communities and build safe, harmonious and inclusive
societies, so that all can find their place
in a higher local and global purpose.

Africans have a word for this – Ubuntu.

This will happen as we:
* Train and capacity build local people
of good will across South Africa in the
running of “Open Crowd Festivals© ”
* Model effective “Open Crowd Festivals©” for people to see and experience the benefits of co-operation;
* Leave a legacy of enhanced human
resource, and clear strategic next steps
for the transforming of local communities;
* Do this in such a way as to enable
a significant number of South African cities and towns to participate in the
2010 “moment”;
* Use this as a pretext to bring business, local government and communities together in a long-term community-based educational and networking program, that builds bonding and bridging social capital.
